COLLABORATIONS WITH THE ARTS

A cornerstone of transdisciplinary research at the centre is collaborating with the arts. This enables new approaches to world destruction and creation on an individual and collective level, both locally and internationally. The interplay with different art forms creates a unique form of knowledge production and proves to be an innovative method of participatory research culture. At the heart of this was the cooperation with the Metropolink Festival for Urban Arts Heidelberg and the art exhibition 'Imaginar el fin de los tiempos' organised with the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH) in the world-famous Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. The collaboration with the dance company DAGADA was also outstanding, in which physical forms of expression were developed as a decisive reflection on how to deal with current crises and thus process the climate crisis, pandemic and artificial intelligence in a performative dialogue between artists, citizens, scientists and fellows.

You will find all previous and current art and science formats on this page.
