Research Project Uzodinma IwealaReplacement, a Meditation

"Replacement, A Meditation" explores the interconnected themes of replacement, apocalypse, power, and identity within the context of a world ordered by white majority societies. Drawing on historical contexts, literature, media, and personal reflection, it delves into the complex interplay between fear and dominance, as represented in the "great replacement theory" and white Christian nationalism. By investigating how these ideas manifest in politics, cultural expressions, and social concerns, the project seeks to expose the contradictions and anxieties that fuel them. Utilizing a transdisciplinary approach, the project will include a mid-length novel and a collection of essays, offering an insightful contribution to the growing discourse on elements and understandings of apocalypse.
